Alone with Everybody (Rambling musings and other balderdash) Hardcover – December 1, 2025

"I’ve settled on a name for my latest book and a year of my written word entitled, “Alone with Everybody”. I’m aiming to self-publish it in December. Might have a huge cuddly teddy bear on the front cover, an imposing, arch-shaped window behind him. With the otherwise darker lighting, the bear appears to be cheerfully happy inside a medieval prison. I’ve also started September with a new book and a re-read of Malcolm Gladwell’s “Talking to Strangers”. I was awkwardly average at talking to strangers back in the day when I was that other person, that strangely long-haired creature grabbing life by the tail, other person.What a weirdo he was.Now I talk to strangers via bizarre and surreal streams of electrical voodoo and witchcraft, and all I hear is my own voice echoing back to me. So I’m talking to myself again, still alone with everybody, and a stranger within my own mind. I’m not sure Mr Gladwell had this in mind when he penned his bestseller, and I doubt the owners of the bear would have ever dared imagine someone taking a picture of their promotional cuddly toy, and saying he was alone with everybody within his own dark and foreboding 18th Century prison cell.But it’s obviously just a ginormous teddy bear inside the room of a museum, and I have to talk to strangers outside of the ones residing in my own head.
